Gary Gysin President and CEO, Asempra
Gary brings over twenty years of software and networking
experience in early stage and established technology companies.
Prior to joining Asempra, Gary was senior vice president of
sales and service at McDATA Corporation where he was responsible
for setting and executing strategies that resulted in exponential
revenue growth through the expansion of strategic partnerships,
customer and channel relationships. Gary also held the role of
vice president and GM Sanera/Nishan while at McDATA. Before
joining McDATA, Gary was the senior vice president of products
at Volera, a majority owned subsidiary of Novell. Earlier roles
at Volera included vice president of product management and business
development. Prior to Volera, Gary held a variety of executive
leadership roles including president and CEO of PGSoft, and vice
president at Crosswise Corporate, WorldTalk and Touch
Communications. Gary holds a B.A. in Economics from the
University of California Santa Cruz.

Sonja Hoel Perkins Menlo Ventures
Sonja joined Menlo Ventures in 1994. Prior to Menlo Ventures, she
was in business development for Symantec Corporation and was an
investment analyst for TA Associates. Sonja focuses primarily on
software, communications and Internet investments. Her recent
investments and board seats include: Acme Packet, Asempra, Intransa,
nCircle Network Security, PassMark Security, Q1 Labs, Solidcore and
VirtualSynaptics. Her prior investments and board seats include:
AssureNet Pathways, acquired by Symantec (SYMC); Eloquent (ELOQ);
F5 Networks (FFIV); MailFrontier, acquired by SonicWALL (SNWL);
Optical Solutions, acquired by Calix; Priority Call, acquired by
LHS Group; Recourse Technologies, acquired by Symantec (SYMC);
and Vermeer Technologies, acquired by Microsoft (MFST). Sonja is
a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.S. in Commerce) and
the Harvard University Graduate School of Business
Administration (M.B.A.). She currently serves as a director on
the Foundation Board of the McIntire School of Commerce at the
University of Virginia. She is also a director on the board of
the Western Association of Venture Capitalists (WAVC).

Steve Krausz US Venture Partners
If change is the only constant, then it's the unique qualities
of each entrepreneur that keeps Steve Krausz passionate about working
with startups. Steve joined USVP in 1985. Steve has been involved with
USVP's investments in Checkpoint Software, Harmonic Lightwaves and Stratacom.
He serves on the boards of Force 10 Networks, Agility Communications, Vontu,
Kasenna, Pathfire, Imperva, Velogix, Performance Retail, Object Reservoir,
Notiva, Xponent, Synfora and Sierra Monolithics. He has led the firm's
investments in Occam Networks, Verity, Accelerated Networks, Xylan, Applied
Digital Access, Elantec and MicroLinear. Change means innovation - it also means
disruption of status quo. Steve is drawn to areas of disequilibrium, where the
possibility exists of technology solving an old problem in a new way, or
redefining the way people work and live. Steve enjoys the role of coach and
mentor to CEOs and finds it rewarding when he can help them consider new
solutions or gain a broadened perspective on the market environment. The father
of two, Steve serves on the board of Woodside Priory School and is a former
executive board member of the National Venture Capital Association. An avid
skier, Steve enjoys travel with his family. When time permits, his reading
interests include world history, especially the Middle East and Asia. He holds
a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from
Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

John Gannon Polaris Ventures
John joined Polaris in June 1998. Prior to Polaris, John was chief
financial officer of Firefly Network Inc., which was sold to Microsoft in
1998. Before Firefly Network, John held a number of positions at Powersoft
Corporation, including chief financial officer and treasurer. During his
tenure at Powersoft, from 1992 to 1995, the company grew annual sales from
$21 million to over $200 million. John was instrumental in the company's
successful initial public offering in 1993, as well as in several mergers
and acquisitions during that period. John came to Powersoft from Trinzic
Corporation, where he was chief financial officer, and Cullinet Software,
Inc. where he held the positions of vice president of administration and
treasurer. Prior to Cullinet, he was a certified public accountant for
Coopers & Lybrand. John represents Polaris on the boards of directors
of 170 Systems, Inc., Antenna Software, Asempra, Centive, CodeRyte , Unison
Products, Watchfire, and Wrenchead. John received his BA in accounting from
Northeastern University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of
Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants.

Gordon Eubanks
From April 1999 to March 2005 Eubanks served as president and CEO of Oblix,
Inc. Oblix was a private company funded by leading venture firms such as Apax
Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers. Gordon Eubanks managed the
company's rapid growth and established its position as the industry's leading
provider of enterprise identity management solutions. In March 2005 Oblix was
sold to Oracle Corporation. From 1984 to 1999, Eubanks was president and chief
executive officer of Symantec Corporation. Under his leadership, Symantec
evolved into one of the world's most prominent software companies. Previously,
Eubanks founded C&E Software (which Symantec acquired in 1984) and
served as a senior executive at Digital Research, Inc. responsible for
commercial system software development and marketing. Eubanks founded Compiler
Systems, Inc. in 1975 and authored its products: CBASIC, one of the first
successful languages on personal computers, and CB80, a compiled version of
CBASIC. Compiler Systems was acquired by Digital Research in August 1981. Eubanks
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State
University (1968) and his Master's degree in Computer Science from the Naval
Postgraduate School (1976) in Monterey, California. Eubanks was a commissioned
officer in the U.S. Navy, serving in the nuclear submarine force from 1970 to
1979. He is an active member of industry trade associations, including a past
tenure as chairman and president of the Software Publishers Association. He
is also on the board of the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation. In 2005,
Eubanks was elected to the Hall of Fame of the Oklahoma State University
Engineering School. Eubanks serves on the board of Concur Technologies,
Inc. (NASDAQ: CNQR). He served on the board and as Chairman of Preventsys,
a private company, until June 2006 when it was sold to McAfee. Eubanks is
on the board of GuardID and Oakley Networks, both private technology companies.
